A good day starts with a good breakfast. With its breads and cereals, cheeses and cured meats, eggs, pastries and fresh fruit, the buffet at Le Strato is both generous and gourmet, perfect to stock up with energy for the coming day.

For lunch, the chef Thomas Prod’homme gives pride of place to regional produce in his refined yet more relaxed menu. Organic soft-boiled egg on hay, Savoy mushrooms, cecina beef and black truffle as a starter, roast rack of lamb in thyme and lemon as a main dish, exotic fruit pavlova for dessert… to be enjoyed either in the dining room or on the south-facing terrace with view over the snowy peaks.

In the evening, discover the full talent of the chef in the one Michelin starred restaurant Baumanière 1850. On the ceiling, you can admire reproductions of details of the famous painting in the Château de Versailles “The Apotheosis of Hercules”, which announce the tone of the exceptional gastronomic dinner to come. Under the aegis of Jean-André Charial, the chef and owner of the legendary 3 Michelin starred Provençal restaurant L’Oustau de Baumanière, Thomas Prod’homme is signing for the fourth consecutive season his authentic cuisine inspired by the Mediterranean with a slight mountain touch. Choose between the two menus, Sensations or Signature, which propose such delights as wild mushroom broth or glazed chard, roasted and braised scallops or Dublin Bay prawn cooked in its shell, farm-grazed lamb chop off the bone or veal sweetbreads, Jerusalem artichokes served like a muesli or steamed wrapped parsnips. A very difficult choice lies ahead!
