A native of the Île de Ré, he grew up in Thailand where he first discovered the world of luxury hospitality. ‘‘I’ve always aspired to work in this field,” he says. Drawn by the prestige of Courchevel, Jaylaan quickly joined Le Strato, where he is preparing to start his fourth season. His progression speaks for itself: he began as Breakfast Manager and now serves as Assistant F&B Manager. “The rapport with our guests, the sense of sharing, the discretion… there’s a genuinely family-like atmosphere at Le Strato,” he explains. When he’s off duty, Jaylaan takes to the slopes of Les 3 Vallées on his snowboard, and uses the off-season to travel and explore new horizons. His career goals are clear: to become a Restaurant Manager, then an F&B Director, and ultimately to run a five-star hotel. The future is looking bright for Jaylaan Belloteau.
