‘‘I won my spurs in Toronto,’’ says Laure, recalling her years as receptionist at the Hilton Hotel. Not luxurious, but diverse. An intercultural team and multilingual clients introducing her to reality. She then set off to the sunny beaches of St Barts, at Le Cheval Blanc, where she learnt about real luxury: meticulous attention to detail. Like a bike saddle, adjusted to the tiniest millimetre by request.
From her hotel training, Laure learnt that she should always see the client’s problems as hers, and meet their wishes before they are expressed. A sense of service now applied daily. ‘‘Real luxury is invisible, synonymous with comfort and ease,’’ she explains, likening Le Strato to a chalet from childhood with hidden, unostentatious luxury. ‘‘Our guests do not always notice it, proving that it is omnipresent.’’
Laure joined the team in 2019 as Reservations Manager. ‘‘I fell in love with Le Strato in every respect.’’ When offered the Assistant Manager position in 2021, this young lady from Lyon did not hesitate for a second. Her ambition is to care for guests in ways that make all the difference. Thanks to unrivalled service, guests can relax completely once their booking is made. ‘‘You don’t have to think of anything. Like almond milk already on your table, before you even ask for it.’’
From a warm welcome to care lavished on details, Laure and her team do all they can to make your stay at Le Strato memorable.
